Distorted Youth

We produced the official music video for Distorted Youth, the title track of Innellea's EP. The film is abstracted into two layers. One is a dream state, where the inner world takes the form of a red storm. The other is physical reality, staged through elaborate set design. Lighting holds both together: it keeps the two apart, then distorts them until they merge into one. There is no narrative bridge between them — the distortion is the story. The dream set was used twice. In the same production we shot a live session inside it, released alongside the video — Innellea performing within the world the film had just imagined.
